Practice what you preach. This is something I’ve always been adamant about. A couple of years ago I wrote an article about how to earn casino comps and why they are so important. My story this year is an example of exactly why you should ALWAYS get a players card, and start earning your rewards.

When you sign up for a player’s card at any casino, you will automatically receive promotions that the casino sends out every month. For example, my local casino, in the months of March and April, sent me a voucher for $90 cash every week. All I had to do was go to the casino and convert the vouchers to cash. For 8 weeks I converted the vouchers to cash and then left. That’s $720, and all I had to do was take 30 minutes out of my day. Not only did the casino give me $720 for free, if I went to the casino on a Saturday the casino provided an additional coupon for $60 in miscellaneous gift cards. That’s another $480 worth of freebies that only cost my time. The casino also sent me other promotions, such as free slot play, free home goods (one day they gave away free luggage and cookware), and numerous other great promos.
Let’s do the math! I spent $600 gambling at the casino but the casino gave me $720 to come back and hopefully gamble again. The casino also provided me with an additional $480 worth of gift cards. Therefore, I made $120 in cash and $480 in bonuses. Lastly, the casino generously provided me and my fiancé complimentary lunch when we stopped in.
I can’t stress enough about how important and beneficial it is to get a player’s card. Even if you only go to a casino once, get the casino’s player’s card! You never know what kind of goodies they will send you.
